The story of Waverider doesn't start with the companies foundation or creation of scalar technology, but the need for helping and healing. Isabelle Kuyper, the owner and co-founder of Waverider was diagnosed with Hashimoto's, a thyroid disorder, when she was 30. She spent years being in discomfort and on heavy medication, trying every diet and exercise routine there was, only to be told by doctors that this was simply the way things would be.

She began looking into alternative medicine and along the way came across scalar wave technology and the EESystem by Dr. Sandra Rose Micheal.
